Biloxi Pro Hockey announces Fan Fest and more

BILOXI, MS- Biloxi Professional Hockey announced the "Biloxi Pro Hockey Fan Fest" that will be held on October 16th, 2021.

The event was announced on social media and will be hosted by Biloxi Pro Hockey corporate partner Val's Sports Bar and Grill in Downtown Ocean Springs from 6 to 9 pm. The event will be sponsored by Mitchell Distributing.

Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite hockey gear , eat great food, and talk with Joe Pace and other Biloxi Pro Hockey staff.

We spoke to corporate sales/special events coordinator Jerod Campbell and asked him how the event came to be.

"Back in the days of the Sea Wolves and Surge we used to have post-game parties, season ticket holder parties, and even booster club events. Hockey fans always loved getting together and hanging out with each other and that’s why I wanted to do this," Campbell said.

"Our core group of fans enjoys getting to see each other and just talk hockey and have a beer and enjoy the night. Val’s is the perfect spot for that. They have awesome food and amazing beer selection and we’re so excited to have them on board as a sponsor and host for this event," Campbell added.

We asked what you can expect at the Biloxi Pro Hockey Fan Fest and Jerod told us they have a lot of surprises in store for fans.

"We will be unveiling the new Sea Wolves logo and we’re excited about that. Also, you might just get an appearance from some former Sea Wolves players as well. I won’t make any promises but we’re working on it." Campbell said.

You can also expect many door prizes all night long.

"We will have some great door prizes from Biloxi Pro Hockey as well as other local businesses. Our sponsor Mitchell Distributing will also have some cool swag and giveaways as well. Door prize tickets will be $1 each. We will be giving away door prizes throughout the night," Campbell added.

Campbell finished by saying that the "Bring Back Hockey" to Biloxi campaign isn't over yet.

"I will end with this.. just because we unveil a new logo doesn’t mean we officially have a team and we’re coming back next year. The fight isn’t over. We still need to convince the Coliseum that there is a fan base here. We need y’all to come out and support these three games in December. It’s very important. So let’s do this y’all! Let’s bring back the Sea Wolves! We can do this!" Campbell said.
