Biloxi Pro Hockey held their press conference inside the Mississippi Coast Coliseum this past Wednesday. Over 160 fans came to the event, which was also streamed on the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Facebook page. 


Matt Mcdonnell spoke about the history of the coliseum, the early stages of hockey in 1996, and the importance for fans to support and attend the three games scheduled at the Coliseum. He announced that three neutral site professional hockey games will be played at the Coliseum on December 2nd, 17th, and 30th.

The FPHL will bring the Columbus River Dragons to the Coliseum to play the Port Huron Prowlers and the Carolina Thunderbirds. Videos were played introducing the Federal Prospects Hockey League to fans.

Barry Soskin spoke about his successes and how much he sees Biloxi in a successful market.

Joe Pace was introduced as the new chief operating officer of Biloxi Pro Hockey. He spoke on his playing and management history. He talked about how excited he was to get started and bring hockey back to Biloxi.

Fans were treated with cameo videos featuring former Sea Wolves players Patrick Rochon, Bob Woods, Roger Maxwell, Austin Miller, and Travis Lisabeth.

The importance of supporting the three games was pointed often in this press conference.
