Biloxi Pro Hockey partners with Mississippi Heroes

BILOXI, MS -Biloxi Pro Hockey is proud to announce a partnership with Mississippi Heroes.

Mississippi Heroes are a nonprofit organization specializing in celebrating personal as well as professional caregivers.

Katherine Sutton, Director of Mississippi Heroes told us she started the organization because of her grandfather.

“I was his caregiver during the last 8 years of his life until he reached 100.” Sutton said.

“We would often go to hockey games. My grandfather loved the Sea Wolves," Sutton added.

“When we heard about Mississippi Heroes, and their work with caregivers in our community, we knew it was something we had to be a part of,” Communications Director Justin Barr said.

"Most people think of professional athletes as super-human or heroes to them, but the real heroes are the caregivers and first responders that Mississippi Heroes is helping honor every day!" Biloxi Pro Hockey C.O.O  Joe Pace said.

“This partnership will allow us to honor local caregivers and first responders in our community,” Pace added.
