Biloxi, MS – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Tuesday the addition of forward Yianni Liarakos to their roster. Liarakos joins the team after 20 games with the Elmira Mammoth this year where he collected nine goals and 17 assists.

The 26-year-old out of Toronto is in his sixth professional season, previously competing in the Federal Prospects Hockey League with the Delaware Thunder, Port Huron Prowlers, Watertown Wolves and Columbus River Dragons. Liarakos’ career also saw an eight-game stop in Erste Liga (2018-19), an international league with clubs in Hungary and Romania.

The Sea Wolves return home this Friday, December 30 for a rivalry matchup with the Columbus River Dragons. Puck drop is set for 7:05pm at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum box office or online at Ticketmaster.com.
